Some thoughts to consider:

• Generally, concern would follow high values for two or more tests in a row - one test does not necessarily mean trouble.
• Indiana Department of Environmental Management is also doing testing throughout the region on rivers and streams.                                              A draft watershed management plan will be available by fall, 2011.
• The Soil and Water Conservation district works to mitigate sources of contamination to streams, rivers and lakes.
• Your LaGrange County Lakes Council works with all these organizations and your lake association to promote, protect and preserve the quality of the lakes and watersheds of LaGrange County.

LaGrange County Lakes Council meets the fourth Thursday of each month except November and December.  We meet at 6pm at the LaGrange County Annex, on the north side of the square.  We hope to see you there!
